The Easter Encounter raffle is back!
It feels like we only just finished celebrating the new year, but time waits for no one, and Easter will be here before we know it.
We’re very excited to announce that first prize for the raffle will once again be a Palms Encounter Tour Package (valued at $4,700) to your choice of Timor-Leste, Myanmar/Thailand, and for the very first time, the beautiful pacific island, Kiribati.
Not everyone is in a position to take up a placement, so this life-changing experience will provide you with a unique opportunity to meet the Palms personnel working in the field and see first-hand the positive impacts resulting from their placements, while you experience the local culture and warm hospitality of the local communities in an ethical and sustainable way.
More importantly, by participating in the raffle this Easter, you will enable Palms to continue sending skilled Australians to partner communities to help build the capacities of local organisations and their people.
As a result, our partner communities will continue to experience real, positive and sustainable developmental impacts as seen in Balibo, Timor-Leste where Michelle currently works with the Balibo Community Learning Centre to support locally driven initiatives that empower women and in Salelologa, Samoa, where Helen is assisting teachers to develop accredited training.
