Join us for a celebration of volunteering, solidarity and community at our upcoming annual Solidarity Awards event.
The Solidarity Awards recognise the individuals, organisations and groups who have cooperated across cultures to achieve a just, sustainable, interdependent and peaceful world free of poverty. In addition to giving and celebrating the awards, the event will also celebrate the volunteers who are about to embark on their life-changing placements.
In celebration of NAIDOC week and in solidarity with Australia’s first people, the event will centre on the traditions of Australian Indigenous culture. Attendees will learn a traditional Indigenous dance and enjoy a delicious, native Australian-inspired afternoon tea. There’ll also be raffles with prizes from Sydney Theatre Company, Pan Macmillan Publishing, Art Gallery NSW and Glitz N Glamour Photography, inspiring guest speakers and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.
