Our 2018 Easter Raffle Winners

Thank you to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket to help support one of our partner communities in Timor-Leste.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to raise $3710, which will help us place experienced early childhood educator Christine Davids at ‘Paroquia St Teresinha do Menino Jesus’, a recently opened preschool in the outer Dili suburb of Bedois. Over her two-year placement, Christine will help build staff’s understanding of child development; family involvement; curriculum development; resource development; and program planning and implementation, which will contribute to closing the education gap for children in Timor-Leste. You can find out more about how Christine is helping here.

But onto the winners!

Congratulations to Paul L of Sydney, who has won first prize; a unique, vintage Hagen Axe from Papua New Guinea (pictured above).

The lucky winner of second prize, a mixed-media artwork from Australian artist Anne-Marie Joyce, is Kevin W of Sydney. Congratulations!
