Free Neighbours Without Borders Introductory Webinar
December 11 @ 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm AEDT
Neighbours Without Borders (NWB) is a comprehensive cross-cultural training program designed to equip individuals and organizations with the tools and understanding needed to strengthen local communities by fostering meaningful engagement across cultural and generational boundaries.
NWB is a targeted response to the outcomes highlighted at the recent Plenary Council. The NWB program was meticulously designed, with valuable input from the Justice and Peace and Pastoral Ministry Offices in several dioceses and emerged as a compelling solution to the Council’s decrees, particularly decrees 3 and 6, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity, especially for marginalized communities such as women, the elderly, people with disabilities, refugees, trafficked individuals, newcomers, those with mental health condition, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This training is not limited to ethnically diverse communities. Even communities that are not ethnically diverse can have cultures and sub-cultures who feel excluded from influencing community direction.
